The Final Member of One Piece M.A.D.S. Was Just Revealed in Secret

In One Piece's latest cover art, series author Eiichiro Oda appears to confirm that the last member of M.A.D.S is none other than CP0 agent Stussy.

Warning: SPOILERS for chapter #1070 of One Piece.

As we all know, One Piece fans have been eagerly awaiting the full reveal of every member of the M.A.D.S, the mysterious group of brilliant scientists who played a pivotal role in the series' story. With the release of One Piece Chapter 1070, the wait seems to be finally over, as the last member of the group has been secretly revealed - and it is Stussy, a character who has been lurking in the shadows for a long time.

For those unfamiliar with Stussy, she is a member of CP0, the world government's elite intelligence agency. Although she initially appears as a secondary character, Stussy has proven to be a force to be reckoned with, possessing both a powerful aura and a keen intellect. As a member of CP0, Stussy has access to a wide range of resources and information, making her a valuable asset to the organization. Once upon a time, she was appointed by CP0 to be one of the "Emperors of the Underworld" and won the title of "Queen of the Playground". Since then, Stussy has gained notoriety, been invited by BIG MOM to the whole cake island, and seen Directly manipulating the flow of global news, as she showed when she threatened Morgans to change a story that could expose her actions. However, it seems that meddling in geopolitics isn't Stussy's only strength, with the cover art of One Piece Chapter 1070 showing her fighting alongside the rest of the M.A.D.S, all but confirming that she's also a brilliant scientist.

This revelation actually makes sense given Stussy's history with a character named Du Feld. Introduced throughout the Cake Island arc, Duffield is mentioned as a major funder of the mad scientist organization M.A.D.S. In addition, he also commented on Stussy's appearance and age during the conversation between the two, indicating that Dufeld has actually known Stussy for a long time. It's a tenuous connection, but one that's clearly bearing fruit as a quiet foreshadowing of Stussy's true history. One Piece is notorious for its long foreshadowing, and this is definitely the seed that Oda planted hundreds of chapters before it happened.

Stussy Being a Member of One Piece's M.A.D.S. Explains so Much

It was a huge revelation that Stussy was a member of the fringe research group M.A.D.S. which would explain why she was sent First went to Egghead Island with Kaku and Rob Lucci. The knowledge of her as a former scientist-turned-assassin must be ridiculous at this point, and if anyone can figure out Vegapunk's weakness in One Piece, it's her. Since she was once his colleague, it stands to reason that she has access to information that no one else has, and could use that information to keep Vegapunk out. While it's not known exactly what science Stussy contributed to the M.A.D.S, every other member was heavily involved in the field of genetics, and it stands to reason that Stussy would also be particularly knowledgeable in this area.

With her great abilities and strategic mind, Stussy will surely be a valuable asset for CP0 to kill Vegapunk targets. It will be interesting to see how she joins M.A.D.S. The stories that will shape the series moving forward, and how her complicated history and loyalties will play out in the grand scheme of things. One thing's for sure - One Piece's Stussy is a force to be reckoned with, and her history with Vegapunk will certainly live on main road.
