Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: All catchable Pokémon in the Eastern Province

The Eastern Province of the Paldea region is home to many Scarlet and Violet Pokémon and is a great place to find new team members.

Unlike previous games in the series, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has an expansive world that is immediately open to the player, meaning that Pokémon can be caught almost anywhere in the region from the start of the game. The Spanish-inspired Paldea region is divided into four provinces named after cardinal directions, and some unique Pokémon can be found in each region. The Eastern Province is further divided into three smaller, numbered regions that function similarly to the old game's routes, and a fourth region in the East Pardos Sea.

It's no surprise that Pokémon Crimson and Violet have their own version exclusives, so the list of Pokémon that can be found in each game is not exactly the same. Exclusives do seem to have fewer exclusives than previous releases like Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which is a welcome relief and makes completing Pokédex transactions much easier. Many of these exclusives can be found in the Eastern Province, although the region also contains a large number of Pokémon that can be found in both versions.

In both versions of the game, the following Pokémon can be found in the Eastern Province:

This means that Scarlet players will be able to easily acquire Armarouge, but Ceruledge items are exclusive to Violet. Additionally, Scarlet and Violet, one of the rarest Pokémon, consist of two versions-exclusive forms, which means one of them can also be found in Scarlet.
