Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: All catchable Pokémon in the Eastern Province
The Eastern Province of the Paldea region is home to many Scarlet and Violet Pokémon and is a great place to find new team members.
Unlike previous games in the series, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has an expansive world that is immediately open to the player, meaning that Pokémon can be caught almost anywhere in the region from the start of the game. The Spanish-inspired Paldea region is divided into four provinces named after cardinal directions, and some unique Pokémon can be found in each region. The Eastern Province is further divided into three smaller, numbered regions that function similarly to the old game's routes, and a fourth region in the East Pardos Sea.
It's no surprise that Pokémon Crimson and Violet have their own version exclusives, so the list of Pokémon that can be found in each game is not exactly the same. Exclusives do seem to have fewer exclusives than previous releases like Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which is a welcome relief and makes completing Pokédex transactions much easier. Many of these exclusives can be found in the Eastern Province, although the region also contains a large number of Pokémon that can be found in both versions.

Many different types of Pokémon can be found in the Eastern Province, all Some of these have been compiled and cataloged by the Serebii, and some regions prefer certain types over others. On top of that, and unsurprisingly, many of Pokémon Crimson and Violet's best Water stats can be found in East Pardy Sea. In both versions of the game, the following Pokémon can be found in the Eastern Province:
Pokémon Scarlet Exclusive Pokémon In Paldea's East Province

Of course, this means they're unobtainable in Pokémon Violet, so trading is required to get these exclusive items. Charcadet's evolutions are also locked behind version-exclusive items, such as Applin's evolution in Sword and Shield. This means that Scarlet players will be able to easily acquire Armarouge, but Ceruledge items are exclusive to Violet. Additionally, Scarlet and Violet, one of the rarest Pokémon, consist of two versions-exclusive forms, which means one of them can also be found in Scarlet.
Pokémon Violet Exclusive Pokémon In Paldea's East Province
Compared to Pokémon Crimson, Pokémon Violet's eastern provinces actually have some additional exclusive items, bringing the total to five. Oddly enough, this area also has an additional Violet Pokémon. Compared to previous Pokémon games, version exclusives usually exist Scarlet and Violet are in the same area as each other, which is somewhat novel for the series.
With the list of Pokémon available in Pokémon Crimson and Violet's Eastern Province, it should be easier to find the best spots for Shiny Hunting, although the new Pokémon game Forgot Legend: Arceus Best Shiny Hunting features . That being said, shiny encounters in the world still make hunting a lot easier than sword and shield. The Eastern Province is home to many rare and powerful Pokémon, so it's possible to find some good shiny Pokémon.
