DWTS Pro Witney Carson Reveals Baby No. 2's Gender

DWTS' Witney Carson made a big announcement about the gender of her second child on Instagram. Baby will be joined by big brother Leo, who just turned 2.

Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Witney Carson has revealed the gender of her second child with husband Carson McAllister. Witney announced her pregnancy during the DWTS Season 31 semifinals, during which she was paired with Wayne Brady. They ended up finishing third in the race. Witney and Carson were high school sweethearts. They married in January 2016. In January 2021, they welcomed their son Leo, who had just turned 2. Their new baby is expected in May.

In an Instagram post, Witney revealed that her and Carson's second child will be a boy. In a video to Ben Rector's "Love Like This," the camera pans over the words "It's a BOY" written in beach sand. Witney, Carson and Leo can be seen standing together in front of the ocean. Witney shook Leo's hand and waved. The song's lyrics, "I've never experienced love like this," are spot on. Witney captioned the post, "Our second best wishes."

Witney's fellow DWTS professional dancers wished her and her family the best in the comments. Lindsay Arnold expects baby girl due date "Can't wait to see you little boy," she and her husband Samuel Cusick wrote in May. Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov, who are due in May, also sent Witney a heart. Koko Iwasaki gushed, "OMG YES YES YES YES WIT!!!!!!" DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba added a blue heart emoji.

DWTS has had baby fever recently, as Witney, Lindsay, and Daniela announced their pregnancy. Additionally, Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy are expecting their first child, a baby boy, in January. Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green gave birth to son Zane in June 2022. While many of the women have yet to reveal whether they will return for DWTS season 32, Daniella has said her plan is to dance on the show's next season.

Witney has been a fan-favorite professional dancer since she first assumed the role on DWTS Season 18 in 2014. She won the next season with her co-star and current DWTS host Alfonso Ribeiro. She's been on every season since then, except DWTS season 29, when she was pregnant with Leo.
