Star Wars: 10 Little Plot Twists No One's Talking About

The new Star Wars series Andorra is filled with many plot twists, moments in which both the characters and the audience are forced to rethink what they've just seen. Of course, narrative twists of this sort are nothing new to this particular universe, which often uses plot twists to entice viewers, whether it's Palpatine's Darth Sidious revelation or Darth Vader's Luke Skywalker's father.
However, there are also many lesser-known plot twists scattered throughout the series. Whether in film or television, fans have largely forgotten about these particular twists of fate.
Lando Once Owned The Millennium Falcon

The Millennium Falcon is certainly one of the best ships in Star Wars. It's also so closely associated with Han Solo that it seems to be part of his identity.
Well, it's really surprising to learn in a plot twist that it once belonged to Lando Calrissian. This was revealed in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and it was quite a revelation. However, this plot twist didn't spark much discussion among the fanbase, perhaps because the film itself was a bit of a flop, Grossed over $329 million (via Box Office Mojo)^ Padmé is arguably one of the best Star Wars characters. She's a formidable fighter and, as she repeatedly proves, has a strong political savvy, as she demonstrates when she reveals that what viewers think is the queen is actually a decoy.
The Padme Double Subplot

Given the extent to which her own fate is intertwined with Anakin's, it's easy to see why this particular plot twist would be largely forgotten by many in the community. What's more, this particular plot twist doesn't seem to have much to do with the larger scope of the story, so it makes sense that it's been largely forgotten.
The Death Star is of course a truly massive weapon, and one of the most terrifying entities in Star Wars. While the destruction of the first event is one of the most important events in the saga, what's largely forgotten is that the second event is actually operational, which came as quite a shock to Rebels.
The Second Death Star Is Operational in Return of the Jedi

This is a plot twist How subtle an empire can be when the time calls for it. However, this particular revelation rather recedes into the background, as most of the rest of the movie is about Luke's confrontation with his father and the Emperor.
While it may not have achieved the high popularity of The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi is still a strong show, especially notable for its third sister character. A ruthless member of the Inquisitor, of course, with the twist that she was actually one of the young men who survived the attack known as Order 66. Put pressure on fans. Unfortunately, she seems to be largely overshadowed by many other important events in the series, not least the long-awaited duel between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Third Sister Being One of The Younglings

The Mandalorian has become one of the best Star Wars TV shows, and actually one of the best series on Disney+. In part, that's because it keeps viewers guessing where it's going - especially notable with Apocalypse Dark Soldiers.
This is an important moment in the series, but it seems to have receded into the context of the Star Wars universe. This is likely because they were destroyed by Luke Skywalker, making them redundant in Din Jarin's larger story.
The Unveiling of the Dark Troopers

Cassian Andor is one of the most famous Star Wars members of the Rebels. So it was inevitable that he would get his own spinoff, among other things, that the series to his name showed him in prison, working on some unknown machine.
As it turns out, in the end credits, this is actually an important part of the Death Star. It has to be said that this plot twist has been overshadowed by various other plot twists and huge events that happened in the series.

Grogu is one of the best things in the Expanded Star Wars Universe, as he wrought undeniable magic on fans from the moment he came on the scene. However, it turns out that beneath that cute exterior hides a huge amount of trauma and, in fact, it was revealed that he survived More so than Order 66, which wiped out most of the Jedi.
It is shocking and heartbreaking to think of this tiny creature having to endure such torture. The excitement of the final few chapters of The Mandalorian's second season, not to mention the events of The Book of Boba Fett, largely pushes this particular plot twist aside, though It's always possible that it will reappear in the future.

Bo-Katan is one of the most famous characters to appear in The Mandalorian. While somewhat tangential to the main story, there's one notable moment when she refuses to take Darksaber from Din Djarin, even though it's been something she's longed for for a long time.
It's a notable moment, but it's a plot twist that, overall, doesn't seem to have much impact on The Mandalorian's larger story. However, given that Bo-Katan has always been such a strong part of the larger Star Wars mythology, one can hope that it will be further elaborated in the future.
Bo-Katan Not Taking The Darksaber

Throughout her work on The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Fennec Shand has proven herself to be one One of the best fighters in the Star Wars saga. However, that doesn't mean she's invulnerable. In fact, she almost lost her life.
However, it turns out that, in a twist, she was actually saved by Boba Fett (as revealed in the books). It was a key plot twist, but one that didn't get a lot of attention from fans, likely because it was overshadowed by some other high-profile events during The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
Boba Fett Rescuing Fennec Shand

In The Book of Boba Fett, it is revealed that Mos Espa Mayor Mokshaez is actually allied with the Pike Syndicate. It's a pretty big plot twist, as it reveals that he's more cunning than his initial incompetent and somewhat wimpy demeanor would suggest.
Unfortunately, this turn was largely overshadowed by a number of other events beyond the series, most notably the conflict between Boba and Pikes. Finally, when he was killed by Fennec, it was easy to see why this further twist went largely unnoticed, as he proved to be so ineffective (and kind of forgettable) character.
