Instagram 2022 recap: How to make year-end shine

Meta redesigned Instagram's year-end Reel, and the results are stunning. I personally like the "wrapped" experience provided by social platforms. In a way, that's not surprising, since the internet is such a nostalgic place. Platforms like Snapchat, Spotify, and Bereal use the end of the year to remind users of special moments shared among friends.
Instagram is joining the New Years party and they have something for all users, 2022 Recap Reels. Users and their friends can relive their favorite memories through video collages narrated by Priah Ferguson, DJ Khaled, and others. It’s a simple design, but users will love how customizable Instagram’s year-end scroll is now. The results allow individuals to feel good about the experiences they decided to include in the retrospective. ^Users will find customizing the 2022 Recap Reel for Instagram easy and rewarding. Start by opening the app and pressing the + icon to start a new post. Then, select "Reel" from the post options. Now select the library menu located in the lower left corner. When the camera roll opens, click on "templates" and find the 2022 recap template from Instagram. The best part is that there are many options from! Users can choose from templates featuring Priah Ferguson, DJ Khaled, Bad Bunny, or Badshah. After selecting one of the Instagram templates, click Use Template.
Customizing Your Instagram Recap

Once the template is activated, the user will be prompted to select 15 clips from their phone's library to populate the clip. Start by selecting an empty field to open your phone's media and select a video. Since this is an Instagram review, users may expect to find Instagram albums in their media libraries. Instagram will indicate how many seconds the footage will last for each segment. Continue adding photos and videos until the template is full. Now press the arrow on the bottom right to preview. Users can modify each clip by clicking on the segment, swiping the frame to the desired shot, and tapping "Replace Media." After editing, click "Next". Additional post-editing can also be added, such as text and special effects. Select Next again to finish adding subtitles and sharing settings.
Instagram is thoughtful, allowing individuals to choose their favorite photos.
