Captain America 4 Fan Trailer Imagines Sam Wilson's First Solo MCU Movie
The Captain America: The New World Order fan trailer imagines Sam Wilson's first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, as he's fully embraced the title.

The Captain America: New World Order fan trailer imagines Sam Wilson's first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie after the events of his series. Steve Rogers' time as Captain America ended in Avengers: Endgame, with the now-retired hero passing his shield on to his sidekick. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier saw Anthony Mackie's character struggle as he accepted his new title. But at the end of the season finale, Sam relinquished his identity as Falcon to officially accept Captain America's legacy. Shortly after the finale, Marvel Studios revealed that McGee would reprise his role in Captain America 4, titled New World Order.
Captain America: The New World Order will begin principal photography in early 2023, with director Julius Onah at the helm. While no single frame has been shot yet, Screen Culture has released a proof-of-concept fan trailer for Captain America: The New World Order. The trailer highlights Sam's mission to inspire the next generation of heroes in the MCU following Infinity Saga. Check out the Captain America: The New World Order fan trailer below:
What Captain America: New World Order Could Be About

In true Marvel Studios tradition, details about Captain America: The New World Order have been kept under wraps. Apart from The titular character of Mackie, a number of actors have so far been confirmed to appear in the new MCU series. Tim Blake Nelson will reprise his role as The Incredible Hulk's Samuel Sterns, aka Leader, who hasn't appeared in the MCU since the 2008 film. Danny Ramirez and Carl Lubley of the Falcons and Winter Soldier will return as Joaquin Torres/New Falcons and Isaiah Bradley, respectively. Shira Haas also made her debut in Captain America: The New World Order as Marvel's Ruth Bat-Seraph, aka Sabra, another mutant from the comics.
While Marvel Studios is keeping plot points from the public, it wouldn't be surprising if Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross played a key role. Following William Hurt's death, Harrison Ford will succeed the late actor as the MCU's new Ross. Given that the studio even recast Ross, it's an indication that he'll play an integral role in Captain America: The New World Order. Whether this is to build on Rose's potential Thunderbolts arc, possibly adapting the Red Hulk element, remains to be seen. The "New World Order" is likely to be instigated by the leader and Ross as the Red Hulk.
Captain America: The New World Order will most likely also focus on the perception of the world accepting Sam as the next Captain. While the creative team accomplished a lot with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, audiences were only witnessing the beginning of Sam's Captain America journey. It would make sense if Captain America: The New World Order happened soon after the Disney+ finale. Doing so helps the MCU not miss out on Sam's early experiences with this new character. It will be interesting to learn more about the mysterious Phase 5 movie once the cameras roll on Captain America: The New World Order.
